Expiration Date Question

We buy individually wrapped microwave popcorn at Fareway. Why is it impossible to find a best by date on the packaging? There is a five digit number but doesn't appear to be a date - at least we don't recognize it to be a date. If sold individually, why doesn't it have a best by date? I don't usually get back to these forums, so could you please email me at [****] and let me know how to determine expiration date? The number I found on the plastic package is 25083T.

It is the best tasting popcorn bar none and the lowest in calories! I went on a popcorn diet and lost thirty pounds! I ate it for dinner, and at only 240 calories a bag [half the amount of Orvilles], and considering the chewing satisfaction, it worked like a charm!!!
